Cavitation (non-surgical liposuction) is based on the physical process of bubble formation. A special device produces a high-intensity ultrasound wave that penetrates the skin into the fatty tissue, where it forms bubbles. The bubbles gradually expand and burst, thereby destroying the membranes of fat cells and releasing their contents into the intercellular space. The fat mass is then naturally eliminated through the blood and lymphatic system. Up to 0.5 kg of fat can be lost in one session.
