  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds.
  • Stop using:
    • retinol and tretinoin;
    • exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA, PHA);
    • benzoyl peroxide;
    • facial scrubs and other exfoliating products.
  • Avoid facial waxing, sugaring, or other hair removal treatments.
  • Do not shave.
  • Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup and heavy skincare products.
  • Do not apply retinol, exfoliating acids, or high-strength vitamin C products immediately before your appointment.
  • If you have an active cold sore, significant inflammation, sunburn, or a skin infection, it is recommended to reschedule your treatment.
  • use a moisturizer daily;
  • apply SPF 50 sunscreen every day;
